On behalf of the Executive and members of Navan RFC, I am delighted to welcome the Presidents, members and supporters of visiting teams as well as match day officials to Navan RFC. I hope you enjoy your time spent with us here at Balreask Old.

Having gained promotion at the end of last season in the Ulster Bank League to Division 2B, I wish Head Coach Alan Kingsley and Club Captain Bryan McKeever continued success this season.

Every success to our J1’s and J3’s teams in their various league and cup programmes for the new season ahead.

To our Under 20’s team who won the All Ireland U20’s Frazer McMullen Cup last season at the first attempt, I wish continued success to Head Coach Pat Kenny and his coaching team with the new squad of players coming through.

The good solid work Navan RFC Ladies team achieved last season will hopefully continue and reap the rewards they strive for this season.

Navan RFC has the distinction of catering for one of the largest numbers playing under age club rugby in Leinster, if not in Ireland. Good luck to all the Youths, Girls and Mini teams this season. Win or lose, enjoy your matches, respect the officials and make new friends.

To all the club sponsors a big “Thank You “. Your sponsorship and support means a lot to the success of Navan RFC.

Navan RFC greatly appreciates the volunteers, be they club members, coaches, team managers or in whatever capacity they volunteer. The support is always welcomed.

On a personal level, I would like to thank Club Chairman Leo Finlay and all the Executive members of the club for the amount of time they put into making the success of Navan RFC the club that it is today.

I would urge players and spectators alike to show respect to the referees and officials on and off the pitch and show the true spirit of sportsmanship.

Finally, enjoy an injury free game of rugby and afterwards post match hospitality in the clubhouse.

Yours in Rugby,

Gerald Williamson

President  Navan  RFC.
